1. Overview --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Do you think your English is good enough? Are you looking for effective ways of maintaining your English with little cost? Are you looking for an opportunity to keep in touch with people with diverse backgrounds and professions - college students, medical doctors, professors, researchers, consultants, lawyers et al.?
If you're looking for something illustrated above, 'Hotline' seems to be the right place to be. Hotline is the prestigious English community with rich tradition, proven system, chosen members. We started as a community at Hitel in 1995. Most of regular members have held membership for years. We think this is the first thing that differentiates us from hundreds of online English communities out there.
Another thing that makes us special is our system. Our primary activity is the conversation over phone at 11 p.m. with other member of community at the day of your choice. This is why we're 'Hotline'. We even have an online system that supports this call activity, in which you can register and modify which day of week you like to have a call, find out who you're supposed to call or get a call from. Aside from this regular call activity, we have a variety of online / offline programs and materials by which you can continually polish your English with little effort.
None of the above would be possible without qualified members. We have rigorous recruiting process by which we can make sure that we have 'right' people - in terms of the fluency of spoken English and fitness as a member of community.
Becoming a 'Hotliner' - regular member of Hotline - means that you have successfully passed resume screening and twice phone interviews. Although this whole process may be so burdensome, we strongly believe that you can get what you expected here in Hotline.
Join us, and you'll have the best way of studying English in Korea.
